Nottingham’s Market Square this Christmas!
An essential Christmas experience and the ideal treat for your pupils ahead of the festive season.
Imagine how much fun your children can have skating in front of the grand Council House in the heart of Nottingham’s City Centre offering views of the twinkling city lights and Nottingham’s Christmas tree.

2 LOW LEVEL ICE RINKS FOR CHILDREN TO HAVE FUN AND GAIN THEIR CONFIDENCE TO SUPPORT THEM TO ACCESS THE SKATE PATH* SHOULD THEY WISH
Skating is available for schools every afternoon:

Monday to Friday afternoon from 12.30pm - 2.00pm **
Skating is also available for schools every Friday morning:
-
10.00am - 11.55am **
School weekday sessions commence on Wednesday 12th November and continue through to Friday 19th December 2025.
Cost:
We are able to offer an amazing schools discounted price per pupil of only £6.50 which includes skate hire.
Teachers skate for free when they book as part of a school group (1 teacher/staff free place for every 10 children). Any additional support staff/volunteers are charged at the schools rate of £6.50 per person.
Transport:
The Outdoor Ice Rink is situated within Nottingham City Centre and it is accessible via Nottingham City Transport buses and the tram.
Booking Information:
We require you to book your skating session a minimum of 5 days in advance.

Upon Arrival At The Rink:
The member of school staff would need to check in their group when they arrive at the main entrance.
Once checked in everyone in the group can then go directly to collect skates from skate hire in preparation for the skating session.
In order to ensure that your group have the best possible experience on our fantastic outdoor ice rink, on ice assistants will be on hand to offer you some hints and tips.

Payment:
Invoice raised by Matt Bradbury Sports, payment is required to be paid in advance of your session.
* Only for competent skaters as no skating aids allowed on the “Sky Path”
** Sessions during this time may be accessed by the general public, although these sessions are off peak times and generally more quiet.
