New Room 180 Academy Venue Arrives In Cloudside

Room 180 Academy, Winmau, and the Junior Darts Corporation are proud to announce the opening of the new Education darts hub based at Cloudside Academy in Sandiacre, Nottingham

Room 180 Sessions take place in a classroom laid out with Dart Boards and Ache's to enable Academy sessions to take place

Elliott Roulstone who delivers the Academy said:-

"We were keen to set up a Room 180 Academy based at Cloudside. We have previously worked with the Room 180 team and seen the impact that darts can have on a young person and we wanted to build on that."

"Since we've started the Academy it's been wonderful to see young players gaining confidence, discipline, and enjoyment through the sport."

Matt Bradbury spoke about the recent impact he has seen with darts:-

"Its been amazing to see so many schools taking an interest in how darts can support a young person's focus and number skills."

"We are also seeing communities that are keen to continue playing darts outside of school with their families, friends and class-mates."

Weekly sessions take place every Thursday at Cloudside through til Christmas working with young darts players wanting to improve their technique and skills on the oche.

Matt finished off by saying:-

"We are so grateful to Cloudside and the LEAD Academy Trust for their support and backing of the Room 180 project - if it wasn't for their support this wouldn't have been possible for the young people."
