“I am very happy for Hudl to be part of the Symposium and we look forward to meeting the UK ice hockey coaching community in Nottingham.
“Since we started working with Matt, he has been a great ambassador of our solutions, which is also shown by our participation in the England Ice Hockey Draft Showcase in Sheffield.”
“We want to help the sport grow in the country and are convinced that the Symposium is going to help do so.”
Hudl allows us ice hockey teams to share video and stats with players to aid in their development, and areas in which they need to address quickly as well as long term.
Matt spoke about his relationship and benefits of Hudl:-
“I met Igor at the start of last season and we discussed how Hudl Instat would support us here in the Nottingham Lions all the way from juniors in our grass roots through to our elite players in our senior team.”
“The data that Hudl Instat provides for coaches, clubs and player development is huge. Being able to have these statistics and visuals at a coaches’ fingertips will really take the game to another level.”
“Hudl Instat is used at many clubs across the country and across the world. We hope that more UK clubs in future will see the value of such a powerful tool to assist both team and player development.”
In addition to Hudl we are pleased to announce that we will have Michael Obermair joining us from the Red Bull Salzburg Ice Hockey Organisation. Michael is the Technical & Video Coordinator from the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy.
Michael spoke about how he will be able to provide systems and practices from his work with the Red Bull Academy:-
"After seeing the agenda for the Symposium and the people that are going to be speaking, I am very much looking forward to present the Red Bull methods, with the idea to bring additional value to the participants. After speaking with Matt and seeing his excitement about the event, I am sure it is going to be the first of many successful gatherings."
Matt was pleaased to welcome Michael to the symposium and said:-
"Its going to be amazing to welcome Michael to Nottingham and it means a lot to have him with us over the weekend. Michael will be able to share his hockey and sporting experiences with the coaches in the room and there will be ample time to interact over the two days."
"Being able to link up with The Red Bull Salzburg organisation and to be able to learn so much from Michael is really going to compliment the amazing collection of guest speakers that we have at the Symposium. Big thanks goes to Igor and Hudl for making this opportunity possible."
